INFORMATION ABOUT US

www.salixfinance.co.uk is a site operated by Salix Finance Ltd (we). We are registered in England and Wales under company number 5068355 and have our registered office is at 10 South Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London, E14 4PU.

We undertake administration of the Salix Funding Programmes.

This will include handling applications via our web portal and providing a direct point of contact for applicants. We also undertake the financial administration for the programmes.

We may update and change our site from time to time to reflect changes to our users' needs, the application process and our business priorities. Our site is made available free of charge.

We do not guarantee that our site, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend or withdraw or restrict or close indefinitely the availability 2 of all or any part of our site for business and operational reasons. We will try to give you reasonable notice of any suspension or withdrawal. However, any of the material on our site may be out of date at any given time, and we are under no obligation to update such material.

Access to our site is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on our site without notice (see below). We will not be liable if for any reason our site is unavailable at any time or for any period. The progression of any application submitted by you on our site is at our sole discretion and we will not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage incurred by you in connection with our handling of the application.

Furthermore, we will not be liable for applications not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind. We will not be liable for any applications which are not completed for any reason.

TRANSACTIONS CONCLUDED AS A RESULT OF APPLICATIONS VIA OUR SITE

Loan agreements between you and Salix Finance Ltd formed as a result of applications made by you via our site are governed by the applicable terms and conditions of loan.

UPLOADING MATERIAL TO OUR SITE

Whenever you make use of a feature that allows you to upload material to our site, or to make contact with other users of our site, you must comply with the content standards set out in our Acceptable Use Policy.

You warrant that any such contribution does comply with those standards, and you indemnify us for any breach of that warranty. This means you will be responsible for any loss or damage we suffer as a result of your breach of warranty.

Any material you upload to our site will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. You retain all of your ownership rights in your content, but you are required to grant us a limited licence to use, store and copy that content and to distribute and make it available to third parties, including, but not limited to, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.

VIRUSES, HACKING AND OTHER OFFENCES

We do not guarantee that our site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programmes and platform to access our site. You should use your own virus protection software. You should run an anti-virus program on all material downloaded from our site.

You must not misuse our site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our site, the server on which our site is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our site.
